PRACTICE PIPES

Pratice pipes were developed 10 years ago and we have sold over 20, 000 sets worldwide.

Each set has two drones (one bass, one tenor) a Scottish made chanter and reed, bag cover, bag and carry case. Its all ready to play!

They are great for practice
They are far easier to blow and much quieter than highland bagpipes. This means that it is no problem to keep on playing for hours even at night. Its is often considered the only problem with this product is you can spend too much time playing them. Ease of playing can help for beginners :

  • develope a good blowing technique.
  • improve dramatically the abilty to tune up and play in tune.

There are two sets available:

Standard set with a normal sized chanter.

Delux set with a long practice chanter.

Not just for beginners
One of the best things about practice pipes is that they are a great sounding instrument. When two are played together they sound amazing. It is often the case that when one person in a pipe band buys one set we get orders of 6 or more sets in the following weeks.
