At Bagpipes Galore we treat your personal information and the security around that very seriously. Security is probably one of the most significant concerns for both the shopper and the retailer during an online transaction. In reality an online transaction is probably more secure than a card transaction in a shop or conducted over the telephone or by fax, as the information transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated logarithm combinations.

Bagpipes Galore use 128 bit encryption with our online payment systems. We also use a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data.

Our shoppers are also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuer provides the right for shoppers to dispute a transaction if the goods/services did not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.

Shipping & Returns
Dealing with a variety of postal systems around the world can at times prove testing. For this reason all orders are recommended to use a recorded or insured mail service.

These services do have a higher cost than standard mail services, but orders can either be tracked or are insured to the value of the delivered items. This way you the shopper can be guaranteed of receiving your purchased products usually with a prompt postal service.

We do however offer you two forms of shipping rates and the decision is left up to you which service you would like to use. It should be noted that orders cannot be re-sent (at the expense of Bagpipes Galore) that do not arrive at their intended destination when the standard mail service has been chosen.

All UK orders will be shipped by Royal Mails First Class or Special Delivery/Recorded Mail Service, and all overseas orders International Airmail and UPS.

Shipping rates will be calculated automatically on orders. This will take into account, your total order weight, the value of items, the shoppers' desired shipping option and the destination the order is being sent to.

Bagpipes Galore treat your privacy very seriously. By registering with us or becoming a customer of Bagpipes Galore you will give us information that we will use to process your orders and improve our service to you.

Wedo not capture and store any of your personal information except that which you voluntarily choose to give us. Any personal information is used exclusively to provide information and services from Bagpipes Galore. We do not pass any of your personal data to outside organizations.

Bagpipes Galoreallows individuals full access to information held about them through their customer account and the opportunity to correct or erase it. To delete your details from our system, including taking yourself off theBagpipes Galoremailing list, you may do so at any time by logging in to your account.

Conditions of Use
All product prices on this website are listed in Sterling (unless another user currency is selected).

Although we can display prices throughout our site ina range of additionalcurrencies, once you arrive for payment processing, your card can only be charged in GBP. This will then be converted at the current exchange rate by your card issuer.

The prices we display through our currency conversion service should only be used as an indication of alternative currency pricing. All conversion rates are regularly checked and amended where applicable; we can not however guarantee these will match those of your card issuer.

This service is offered to aid our customers. By selecting an alternative currency you agree to this statement and understand the final amount will be charged in GBP.

Every product we sell is carefully inspected before it is packaged and sent. Full refunds or replacements will be given if items do arrive in a faulty condition.

If this is the case wemust be notified within2 working days of receiving your order. Orders sent back without notifying us will not be accepted.

Postal, carriage or other delivery charges for items returned are at the expense of the returnee and Bagpipes Galore does not accept any liability whatsoever for charges incurred when returning any item previously supplied by us. Returned products must be in original condition and packaging.

For products that are in stock, orders are usually sent within 1-2 days of ordering. If there are delays on any items, we will inform you upon receipt of your order. All orders will be packaged accordingly before dispatch.

We offer our customers the choice of a Standard Postal Service, and a Registered Service. We recommend all orders are dispatched via the Registered Service for the security and insurance these services offer our customers. Unlessthe standard mail service is chosen, Registered mailhas been set asthe default service.

Please Note: We will not resend orders that have chosen a Standard Mail Service out a second time (at the expense of Bagpipes Galore) if these items do not reach their intended destination.We must stipulate that this is why we recommend you to choose a Registered Mail Service for your order.
